O’Neill (b.1939, Tauranga) studied at the School of Fine Art through the University of Canterbury She later studied at Auckland Teachers College, and taught at Tauranga Girls High School. Her paintings reflect coastal landscapes in oil, acrylic and pastel, and O’Neill exhibited widely in New Zealand from 1966.
